TD Bank has signed a deal with Cardtronics to rebrand 80 ATMs inside New York Rite Aid stores in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens to operate under the bank’s brand name, extending an existing partnership with Cardtronics.

Under the TD Bank brand, 71 of the ATMs will operate as cash dispensers, while six will be newly installed ATMs with deposit capabilities.

“New York City is an important market for us for continued growth and expansion, yet space is at a premium,” Andy Brezengzer TD Bank Regional President – New York, said in a company release. “By collaborating with companies like Cardtronics to build out a robust ATM network, we are able to expand our reach beyond our existing 141 TD Bank stores in order to provide increased access to our customers and ultimately better serve the greater New York area.”

Carter Hunt, managing director at Cardtronics, said the agreement expands an existing partnership with TD Bank that includes about 1,200 ATMs in North America.

TD Bank, based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, serves 9 million customers in the U.S. and is a unit of Toronto Dominion Bank in Toronto, Canada.
