Retail-FCL launches robotic services

Posted: 14th December 2020

Retail-FCL has announced the introduction of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with its first Robot designed to streamline business processes.

The robot evaluates current device status, then utilizes a pre-defined decision tree to decide the best course of action for the device. Corrective actions are then recorded and mapped to allow the robot to learn and grow its capability.  Retail-FCL’s robot employs Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and automates the simpler services allowing trained staff to focus on more challenging services.

Andrew Martin, CEO commented “We are extremely excited and proud to advise that we have just employed our first robot in our services department. RobotOne works timelessly to manage client devices effectively and efficiently. The service is in its infancy and we look forward to expanding the robot’s responsibility over the coming months”.

“This is the start of an exciting era for Retail-FCL”  stated Waleed Idrees the Data Scientist responsible for the robot.

This is just the first phase of using a Robot, RobotTwo is in development.
